If you think that the Cavs can easiy find a suitable trade for Kyrie Irving, you better think again.
Kyrie is one of those special, invaluable players. His skillset and experience are practically unmatched by the rest of the league. While there are other great deals being thrown Cleveland's way, they'd be hard-pressed to find anything worth Kyrie Irving.
And now, to make matters worse, according to Terry Pluto of the Plain Dealer, Kyrie is reportedly refusing to commit long term to any team that trades for him. Apparently, he wants to keep his "options open."
For the Cavs, it took away leverage they needed to find a better package. teams are more inclined to offer less now, because Kyrie may only be rental. This makes it unlikely that any team other than the four he requested will even offer any deal.
This sudden unhappiness in Cleveland had the entire league talking. Where he'll actually end up is anyone's guess at this point, but Irving certainly hasn't helped make the situation any easier.
