Report: Clippers, Nuggets and Hawks Apparently Working on Massive 3-Team Trade

With the departure of Adrian Wojnarowski from The Vertical, it has opened the door for another Vertical reporter, Shams Charania, to steal some of that breaking NBA news spotlight.

Per Shams, apparently the Clippers, Nuggets, and Hawks are working on a three-team deal that will send help send Millsap and Gallinari to their preferred destinations this free agency.

With Paul Millsap making it known he intends to sign with the Denver Nuggets, and Danilo Gallinari wanting to make a move to the Clippers, the three teams are trying to concoct a deal where every team can go home happy, and not lose their players in free agency for absolutely no return.

Millsap would move to Denver, Gallinari to LA, and LA's Diamond Stone, a first round pick, and Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford would be sent to Atlanta as compensation.

The Clippers would get younger, getting rid of the 37-year-old Jamal Crawford and adding Gallinari, the Nuggets would strengthen their frontcourt with Paul Millsap, and the Hawks would kickstart their rebuild with Diamond Stone and a first round pick. Everyone's a winner.

Let's just hope if Crawford does get bought out, he doesn't go and sign with the Warriors.
