The Cavaliers are going to make a trade. It's a given.
The only question is who they'll be trading for. And while a number of trade rumors have surfaced regarding the subject, one particular team has been connected to the most recent rumblings: the Charlotte Hornets.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Hornets and Cavs have "definitely talked" about a potential trade. Although it's largely unclear who exactly the talks were centered around, but it's assumed that Kemba Walker or Dwight Howard was involved. And while the Hornets remain adamant that they're not shopping Kemba, the Cavs may be willing to give up Isaiah Thomas to try and get him.
The 27-year old point guard is averaging 22.7 points per game, 5.9 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 steals this season while also shooting 42.3% from the field, marks that would surely help improve this reeling Cavs team. But as the deadline draws near, the chances of Cleveland pulling off a trade sizzle.
