The Los Angeles Clippers shocked the NBA world Monday evening when they traded Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Clippers may not be done yet. "Woj" says that the Clippers are actively "looking at trade packages for DeAndre Jordan and Lou Williams."
After trading Chris Paul this past summer and now, shipping away Blake Griffin, a total rebuild would make sense for the Clippers. Lou Williams is currently playing better than ever before and his value is sky-high. Williams, a former Sixth Man of the Year winner, could net the Clippers a solid return and could also be a huge asset for a championship contender or even, a team on the cusp of Playoff contention.
When it comes to Williams there is not a better time to strike than while the iron is hot. Jordan, on the other hand, should net the Clippers a return similar to what Los Angeles received for Blake Griffin. DeAndre Jordan is a former All-Star and is one of the NBA's top tier rim protectors.
The Cleveland Cavillers seem to be the popular destination of choice for Jordan however, if the Cavs are unwilling to deal the coveted Brooklyn Nets pick, the Clippers may look elsewhere. Stay tuned to Fadeaway World for more as the situation progresses.
