NBA Trade Rumors: Cleveland Want DeAndre Jordan, But Price Is High

Los Angeles Clippers are in trouble this season after they lost Chris Paul (free agency) and Patrick Beverly (injury). At this point, the smartest thing will be tanking and rebuliding.

After 4-0, they have 2-11 and with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan they can't expect to play in the NBA Playoffs.

On the other side, Cleveland Cavaliers can't wait anymore because LeBron James will be a free agent next summer, so they need to bring one more All-Star player on their squad.

According to' Joe Vardon, Cavs will consider a trade that will send Tristan Thompson to the Clippers, in exchange for DeAndre Jordan.

But, according to the Amico Hoops, that is not enough.

While the league source confirmed the Cavs’ interest in Jordan, it appears the Clippers would want more for Jordan. At least, they will explore the market for more as they look to move their 6-foot-11 center.

Jordan is in the final year of his contract ($24 million) and he has a player option for the 2018-19 NBA season.

So far, he has a good season with 10.5 points, 13.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.

If they want to beat the Golden State Warriors, they certainly need a big man like DeAndre Jordan, but the Cavs are not the only team who want to see an All-Star center on their roster.
