Sacramento Kings are the very hot destination at this moment because of Cousins. He is one of the best centers in the NBA, and he already played with John Wall for Kentucky Wildcats 6 years ago.
So far Sacramento Kings have 7-11, and Wizards have 6-10. Even if they played in the NBA Playoffs, they will lose in the 1st round against the Warriors, Spurs, Clippers or Cavaliers, Raptors and Bulls.
DeMarcus Cousins needs help as soon as possible.
According to Candace Buckner of the Washington Post, Cousins and Wall "talk constantly," and the Kings playmaker said "It's came up" when asked whether they ever discussed being teammates at the NBA level.
Buckner noted Cousins also said, "You never know what will happen. It's the NBA, so hopefully one day [Wall] will be in a Sacramento uniform."
“They’re going to all come to Sac,” Cousins playfully proclaimed. “Come to Sac!”
And how does Wall react when Cousins pitches Sacramento?
“[Wall] wants me [in D.C.],” Cousins said. “
“We talk about it all the time,” Wall said with a smile, after his Wizards defeated Cousins and the Sacramento Kings in overtime, 101-95.
After 6-years in the NBA, Cousins never played in the playoffs and he will not play until the front office trade someone and bring an All-Star player to the Sacramento.
What can they offer for John Wall? It’s a very valuable trade for the Wizards, because Sacramento Kings could offer Rudy Gay and Darren Collison. Rudy Gay is a free agent next season, and they can clear a salary cap at the end of the season.
This is a good opportunity for Sacramento, because they can have Cousins and Wall in the lineup, and with Willie Cauley-Stein they could have a good combination with two big men and one skilled point guard.
I’m sure that Sacramento will get back on the track with Cousins-Wall, and after 10 years, they can finally play in the NBA Playoffs.
