The former Buckeye D'Angelo Russell has mightily struggled to adapt to the NBA during his first couple of seasons, showing glances of greatness every now and then but being kind of inconsistent for most of the time.
On top of that, an off the court incident with teammate Nick Young made life difficult for the youngster, who snitched on Swaggy P, recording him on video while he was admitting to cheating on his girlfriend, making him lose the respect from most of his colleagues.
Now in a crazy turn of events, it D'Angelo Russell and the Lakers will officially part ways. In a report by Adrian Worjanowski, D'Aneglo Russell will be traded to the Brooklyn Nets for Brook Lopez, and the #27 pick in this years' NBA Draft.
Also included in the deal will be Center, Timofey Mozgov, who the Lakers were looking to wipe off the books. Could this be the Lakers way of clearing room for Paul George?
