The 2017 Draft class was loaded with talent. Lonzo Ball, Markelle Fultz, Jayson Tatum and Dennis Smith Jr were just some of the big names called that night.

While the Rookie of the Year award is still wide open this upcoming season, Vegas has already picked its favorites.

According to a report by ESPN's David Purdum, Laker rookie Lonzo Ball was named the favorite to win the award with 9-5 odds. While Lonzo's short stint at UCLA came without a national championship, he was considered by many to be the most talented prospect in the draft. And now with the new season quickly closing in, it looks like Lonzo fever is spreading faster than wildfire.

But the Ball brother wasn't the only young stud with high chances to win ROY honors. Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers came in second with 5-2 odds. After missing all of the 2016-17 season due to an injury, Simmons will finally get to play in October.

After Ball and Simmons came Dennis Smith Jr at 4-1, Markelle Fultz at 13-2, with Jayson Tatum and De'Aaron Fox both at 8-1 odds.

With this season being the first in which the Rookie of the Year winner can be bet on in the Nevada sportsbooks, it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.

With such a talented draft class, any one of those young rookies listed can earn the award. Who would you pick?
