The NBA has been pretty wild these past few weeks. The Cavaliers traded away half their roster, LaVar Ball made his usual noise, and the NBA has seen a flux of changes in the playoff picture. But what if I told you we might see the return of a player we thought we'd never see on the court again?
When Chris Bosh last took the court in the 2015-16 season, it was with the expectation that he may never play basketball again. Being diagnosed with blood-clots the season prior, every second he spent on the court was a second he spent risking his own life. After things went down rather harshly (with the Heat basically forcing him to quit), Bosh walked away in a rather unfitting fashion.
Fortunately, though, it sounds as if his story isn't quite over yet. In a recent appearance on ESPN's First Take, Bosh alluded to a possible NBA comeback, hinting that he'd sign with whatever team made him the best offer.
While a possible return date remains in mystery, Bosh looks good, seems happy, and sounds like he's working toward his comeback sooner rather than later.
Both the Cavs and the Raptors would welcome him with open arms... and it would make quite the story. But to end his career on his terms after everything that has happened? That's something we can all get behind.
