Every NBA teams biggest fear is having their best star walk away from the franchise.
For the Cleveland Cavaliers, their unique situation puts them in position to experience that fear twice. When LeBron James left the team for the first time, it was like a sucker punch to the organization. And without the King, they were unable to even compete.
With him back, it'd be pretty hard for them to lose him again... or, would it?
According to Jackie MacMullan of ESPN.com, LeBron James wouldn't commit to the Cavs beyond the 2017-18 season when asked by team owner Dan Gilbert. The superstar forward holds a player option that could make him an unrestricted free agent at season's end, and the suitors are expected to make a hard push for his services.
Regarding the situation of his possible departure, James hasn't given us a lot of answers on what he plans to do. At this point, it's just a matter of waiting.
Will the Decision 3.0 shock the world yet again, or will The King stay loyal to the place he has called home for so many years.
