We all know how friendly both LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have been ever since they teamed up in Miami in the summer of 2010, spending 4 years together as members of the Heat before LeBron departed for Cleveland in 2014 and Wade left for Chicago 2 years later.
With that in mind, and also the fact that both James and Wade have regularly met up during offseasons to train together, it's no wonder reports are stating that Wade could be headed to Cleveland after being bought out by the Bulls.
These reports not only state that Wade is considering joining the Cavs, but LeBron expects Wade to sign with them in the coming days.
If Dwyane does indeed sign with Cleveland in the next few days, it'll be obvious to everyone that LeBron and Wade have been in cahoots with each other ever since James returned to Cleveland.
And why wouldn't they be? When both Wade and James played for the Heat between 2010 and 2014, they had a dominant stretch of basketball. Back to back titles in 2012-2013. Four straight Finals appearances. Countless fastbreak alley-oops. Why wouldn't they want to rekindle the magic they had in Miami?
With multiple Western Conference teams loading up with superstar talent to compete with Golden State, nabbing Wade to pair with the likes of James, Isaiah Thomas, Kevin Love and Derrick Rose may just be what Cleveland needs to get over the hump.
