For Derrick Rose, things just haven't been the same sinc eleaving the Bulls.
On the Knicks, while he didn't play bad, the team was a dysfunctional mess that had practically zero interest in bringing him back. With the Cavs, he was never more than a veteran role-player, serving little use other than to pass LeBron James the ball.
But after he got traded, and subsequently cut thereafter, the future of Rose's playing career has never been more up-in-the-air.
Still, it's hard to think that no team won't take a chance on him. That team, according to Tomer Azalry, could be the Los Angeles Clippers.
In the report, Azarly revealed that the Clippers are "considering" signing Rose as there isn't much progress on a deal with Tyrone Wallace. Signing Rose would help bolster L.A.'s rather lackluster backcourt. In a big market, he could thrive under the right conditions.
It would give Derrick a chance to start over, in one of the best cities in America.
