After a 132-113 loss in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, your whole team may be feeling tired and beat up, right? What better way to treat that pain and soreness than hitting a blunt?
It was reported after Game 2 that the Cavaliers' locker room had a strong smell of marijuana coming from inside when reporters were let in to ask the Cavs' roster questions.
Via Mike Wise of The Undefeated:
As Wise noted, it didn't necessarily have to be coming from a Cavaliers' player, it could have been coming from a fellow reporter or cameraman. And even if it was coming from a J.R Smith-like character, who cares? Marijuana is legal in the state of California, and is a great pain reliever. Even Steve Kerr has admitted to using it in the past.
As always, we should always take this sort of news with a grain of salt, as other reporters inside the locker room have stated differently.
