When Dwyane Wade inked his deal with the Chicago Bulls, it was a sad day for many NBA fans. After playing in Miami for so many years, it was going to be tough to see him in a Bulls jersey.
Three championships, spectacular moments, and heart felt sentiments were an often occurrence during Wade's tenure in Miami. He could very well be the greatest Heat player of All-Time.
And now, for the first time in 2 years, he could finally be coming home.
With the Bulls in full rebuild mode, there may be no room for an aged superstar. Will Dwyane even want to play for a non-contender? Those remarks all point to a possible buyout between Wade and the Bulls. Although nothing has been formally announced, it's easy to see a scenario that makes Wade a free agent once again.
And according to Jorge Sedano, the Miami Heat would be the most likely landing spot for him. No doubt the Cavs, Celtics, and Thunder would be after his services. But if bought out, what better scenario would there be than to return to Miami?
For contention and nostalgia, a Wade-Heat reunion would be one of epic proportions. The team would get instantly better, and Wade would get to enjoy the luxuries of home once again.
The stage is set for this miracle comeback to take place. Now, it all hinges on whether or not the Bulls and the star himself can come to an agreement.
