There's always a few snubs when it comes to All-Star honors. And while he'll still, no doubt, be selected into the game, many people still think Kristaps Porzingis should have been a starter, including himself.
Showing distaste with how the results panned out, Porzingis made an interesting comment, while also taking a possible shot at Joel Embiid (who finished ahead of him in voting.)
Check it out:
"Players know," he said. "That's all I'm going to say."
Simple comment, but it implies that Embiid should not have made it, because KP finished over him in the player voting. When asked if he was expecting to make the final roster, the Knicks star made no shortcomings about making his opinion known.
"We'll see. I would hope so. In my mind, I deserve it," he said, via Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News. "All I got to do is play good and win games, and the results will take care of itself. I shouldn't be too worried about who is going to vote for me and who is not going to vote for me."
No doubt, KP has every right to be upset. His play has certainly proved enough on that front. Still, it seems Kristaps won't have to get used to the experience for too much longer.
