Paul George Goes All-Out Beast Mode In OKC's Much Needed Win

The OKC Thunder have just not lived up to expectations so far. After acquiring Paul George and Carmelo Anhony over the summer, they were expected to be amongst the West's most elite.

Instead, they find themselves currently outside the playoff bracket, with a record 2 games below .500.

After a players only meeting that supposedly took place Thursday night, it seemed the team had hit rock bottom just 11 games into the season.

Then, Paul George happened, and it gave the team a little room to breathe, even if it's only a little while.

In tonight's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, PG13 made a statement, scoring 42 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists in the team's 120-111 win over L.A.

For the season, George is averaging 21.3 PPG, 5.8 REB, and 2.4 APG on 44.1% shooting. While those numbers are relatively low compared his last few seasons, he has played his role just fine for his new team.
