Lonzo Ball Roasts Rookie Teammate For Being Disappointing In College

It seems playing on the same team doesn't excuse you from a bit of competitive banter now and then, and that's exactly what's happening in the Los Angeles Lakers camp.

Number two overall pick from this year's draft, Lonzo Ball, decided to take a few friendly shots at teammate and former Pac-12 rival Kyle Kuzma, who was chosen with the 27th pick this year.

Now that's savage. Being so underwhelming you're not even worthy of being remembered by the second-best player in this year's draft? Ouch.

Obviously though, Lonzo is exaggerating a bit, as Kuzma was good enough to make it into the NBA as a first-round pick out of Utah. And if we're being honest here, Lonzo's UCLA team only beat Kuzma's Utah by one point last time they faced back in January of this year.

Lonzo finished with 17 points and 8 assists, while Kyle had a game, including 15 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists, showing his versatility.

Kuzma's season averages are nothing to laugh at either, as the forward averaged a solid 10.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game for Utah in 30 minutes of game time.

If Ball is willing to joke around with Kyle like this, it just shows the sort of culture the young Lakers are trying to build in L.A., which can only be good news for Laker fans.
