Talk about branching out.
Lonzo Ball's -- the Los Angeles Lakers star point guard -- main focus is obviously basketball, first and foremost, but that doesn't mean Ball isn't afraid to dabble in some other professions, and that includes rapping.
Lonzo has already featured on eight tracks, the most popular of which 'ZO2', has 6,000,000 views on YouTube. So as you can tell, Lonzo takes his rapping side-career pretty seriously, and it's only about to get even more serious.
During Lithuania's version of the Grammy's -- the M.A.M.A's -- on Friday night, Lonzo's dad LaVar made an appearance to hype up a video announcement made by his son.
That's right, Lonzo Ball will be hosting his first-ever concert in Lithuania -- where his two younger brothers play -- during the summer.
Ball will be performing tracks such as 'ZO2,' as mentioned above, as well as 'Melo Ball 1' and 'Super Saiyan'.
This may be something unlike anything we've ever seen from an athlete before, especially from one as popular as Lonzo is. I mean, who else can you name that's hosted their very own concert during the offseason of a sport they were the second overall pick in?
Hopefully for Laker fans, however, Lonzo's rap career doesn't prove to be too big of a distraction during the offseason, as Ball definitely needs to time to train and develop his game -- particularly his shot -- as even though Ball as been better shooting the basketball as of late, he's still averaging a woeful 10.2 points a game on 35.6% shooting.
