As Wojnarowski reports, Durant is expected to make his decision by July 9, when he leaves the country on a publicity tour.
He has 15 days for the most important decision in his life.
The Spurs and Warriors, sources say, are both already planning to talk with Kevin Durant with a full of key organizational figures including Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, and Gregg Popovich and Tim Duncan.
According to Wojnarowski, "meetings are expected to take place in New York, but teams are still awaiting word on a location."
The other 3 teams are Boston Celtics, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers.
What can they offer him?
Golden State Warriors: The Big Four
After the Warriors had the best regular season ever in the NBA league with 73-9 records, they could the best chances to sign Kevin Durant.
"All I can say is I will be very aggressive," Warriors owner Joe Lacob vowed on his way out of Oracle Arena after Game 7.
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Steve Kerr. The Warriors have one of the best organization in the NBA, and with Kevin Durant they will become the strongest contender of the NBA 2016/17/
Also, without Kevin Durant, they will be in the top 3 teams in the league, so just imagine them with Kevin Durant? The unbelievable roster.
This decision will be very tough for Kevin Durant.
According to Marc Stein, the Warriors "increasingly believe their chances of convincing Durant to leave the Thunder after a successful 10-season run were enhanced significantly by the fact that Golden State lost the NBA Finals to Cleveland in seven games despite taking a 3-1 series lead."
San Antonio Spurs: Old Man Riverwalk Greg Popovich and the Dynasty
We still don't know about Tim Duncan decision about the retirement. But, if Kevin Durant sign with the Spurs, I'm sure that Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili will stay one more year and try to win their last NBA Championship.
What they can offer? Everything that Kevin Durant imagine. He could play for the classy organization. LeBron called the Spurs "the best organization in the NBA".
He could play with Greg Popovich, in my opinion - the best coach in the NBA after Phil Jackson.
Kawhi Leonard - the best two-way player in the league, LaMarcus Aldridge - top 5 Power Forwards in the NBA, and I can't forget the Big Three - Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker.
They will try to attack Kevin Durant and I'm more than sure that they will be very aggressive.
Boston Celtics: The History
After they drafted Jaylen Brown and failed to trade for Jimmy Butler or sign and trade deal with Al Horford, I'm sure that Kevin Durant will not sign with the Celtics. Why?
Because they don't have the superstar in their team. Ok, they have a young coach Brad Stevens, but they can't win an NBA title with Isaiah Thomas, Marcus Smart and Kelly Olynk. But, they have the future draft picks? Who cares about draft picks. To be honest, Kevin Durant wants to win the NBA Championship next year, he can't wait for the young prospects. Not anymore.
I respect the Celtics' history, but like Los Angeles Lakers - if the superstars want an NBA title, the best offer is 2-3 superstars to play with him.
As Wojnarowski reported, "Durant’s public and private criteria for the free-agent selection process have pertained to a singular focus: the chance to win titles immediately."
Miami Heat: Pat Riley and The Decision 2.0
Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion Pat Riley. After they signed LeBron James, who won 2 titles with Miami Heat organization, nobody could say "NO" to Miami Heat.
They are the underdog, but they are a contender in the shadow. Dwyane Wade, Hassan Whiteside, Chris Bosh, Goran Dragic, Justise Winslow and Luol Deng. On the paper, they have the best roster for Kevin Durant after Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs.
Also, Miami - one of the best destinations to live and they don't have an income tax. That is a good choice for everyone, not just Kevin Durant.
Los Angeles Clippers: Chris Paul and Blake Griffin
The Los Angels is the destination to live after Miami. Do you agree with me?
Los Angeles Clippers never won the NBA Championship. They even didn't play in the Western Conference Finals.
But, they are the best team in the Los Angeles, in the last 4 years. With Chris Paul (top 10 PG ever), Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, Kevin Durant will have a good starting lineup and the most important - he will finally play with the real point guard.
I think that Los Angeles Clippers have a chance only because of Chris Paul. Blake Giffin is a better player than Serge Ibaka, but Kevin Durant needs a point guard who knows how to play for a team and with CP3, Kevin Durant could become the unstoppable offensive force in the league.
The Thunder remain the frontrunners to re-sign Durant, likely on a one-plus-one-year deal that will allow Durant to return to free agency in the summer of 2017, league sources said.
The most likely outcome remains Durant re-signing with Oklahoma City for two years, with an opt-out after one year — even if in 2017 he left for another team his next contract would be worth about $45 million more (because the cap goes up again and he becomes a 10-year veteran in the league getting him to the next max contract tier).
He will try to win the NBA Championship with Russell Westbrook and Victor Oladipo. Maybe Oklahoma Thunder will add a few players in the off-season to improve their squad for the NBA 2016/17.
This will be a very tough decision and we are waiting for Kevin Durant. This is the Decision 2.0
