Kendrick Perkins: "I wouldn’t be surprised if Kevin Durant comes back to the Oklahoma City Thunder"

Last night, Kevin Garnett's Area 21 reunion with the former Celtics from the 2008 Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, Glen Baby and Kendrick Perkins created some very hot buzz about Kevin Durant - Russell Westbrook relationship.

Kendrick Perkins said last night:

Now I’m trying to figure out a way to make them talk again because I feel like the outside world was putting a beef there that really wasn’t too serious.

The night that Russ actually broke the record, I had texted KD the next day, he was talking about something, and he sent me a text and was like, ‘Hey man, me and Russ had a nice conversation’ that the media even don’t know nothing about. But I just let it be known that, you know, they’re back on talking terms.

Differences aside, I wouldn’t be surprised if KD, if he makes a little run, he go back to Oklahoma, because in my opinion Russ ain’t going nowhere.

Kevin Durant will have a player option this summer and he can decline that and try to sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder once again. I guess they will have to figure out some sign and trade option, because they already have 4 big contracts (Westbrook 28 million, Adams 22 million, Victor Oladipo 21 million and Enes Kanter 17 million).

It's very hard to imagine that Kevin Durant wants to come back in the Oklahoma, but if he wins with the Warriors this season, maybe he will come back like LeBron James did with the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers a few years ago?
