When Chris Paul hurt his knee in Houston's opener, it should have been a huge blow to the team.
And while they no doubt miss his presence, they haven't really lost a beta since he went down. Part of their success is due to their shooting, which looks even better than last year.
Mostly though, it's due to James Harden, who used tonight's game to prove that very thing.
Scoring a career-high 56 points on 76% shooting and 13 assists, this game was undoubtedly the game of the year -- and the game of Harden's life.
The win propels Houston to 8-3, good enough for 1st in the West. The loss for Utah marks their 5th in ten games this season, barely enough for the 8th seed.
No doubt, James Harden is making yet another case for MVP. But can he finally win it, or will lose out on the award again?
