According to Frank Isola, Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Isaiah Thomas apparently "led the charge" against Kevin Love during the Cavs' team meeting Monday.
The reports comes after news broke yesterday of a feisty and animated team meeting, one in which multiple sources claim Kevin Love was the subject of much blame.
Recently, the Cavaliers have been falling apart at the seams after appearing to have everything together just a few months ago. Tyronn Lue is being questioned, the front-office has no clue what it's doing, LeBron James' future with the team is up in the air, and now the players are fighting amongst themselves while losing games on the court.
When asked about the recent turn of events (particularly the Kevin Love situation), LeBron James only added to the speculation, saying only: "I don't want to talk about it."
On the flip side, while Love admitted he wished information from the team meeting was kept behind closed doors. he noted that he didn't feel singled out when the players tried to clear the air. (via Tom Withers of the Associated Press)
In any case, it's hard to fully grasp how the situation in Cleveland got this dire. For a newcomer like Isaiah Thomas to take such a vocal stance against his teammate speaks volumes in regards to the relationship between the two.
Then again, had the Cavs been dominating, would this even be a problem?
