One of the newest Cleveland Cavaliers is ready to take on the 2017-18 NBA season head on, with a pinch of help from Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.
Coinciding with the release of his new shoe line, the Kobe A.D.'s, the Black Mamba challenged five prominent figures, including NBA players Isaiah Thomas and DeMar DeRozan, to complete various things, some more strange than others.
One of the more normal challenges was directed to Isaiah Thomas, with Kobe tasking Thomas to make the All-NBA First Team next season.
Well it took a while, but IT finally accepted the task in front of him:
Thomas was smart to accept as if things go smoothly in his first season with Cleveland, Thomas has a very good chance to make the First Team. Isaiah finished last season being named to the All-NBA Second Team alongside Stephen Curry and behind James Harden and Russell Westbrook, who both had career years.
There may be a few roadblocks in between IT and his goal, such as chemistry issues with a new team and that nagging hip injury that came to light recently which Thomas will no doubt miss time for, but if LeBron and Isaiah can click when they're both on the court, and the Cavaliers finish well once again in the East, in the words of Kevin Garnett, anything is possible.
