Is LeBron James Tempted To Give Kyrie Irving A Beatdown?

Since Kyrie Irving's trade request went public, everyone's been wondering about LeBron James. Receiving news that your best teammate, and friend, wanted to leave the city for a chance to lead his own squad isn't the best thing a guy can hear.

What's even worse is how this all went down. According to some reports, Kyrie even blamed LeBron, saying he didn't want to play second fiddle to him anymore. Now, gossip and rumor are hitting the community, and the Cavaliers are left in utter mayhem.

LeBron no doubt finds it all pretty frustrating. So frustrating, in fact, that a report by NBA insider Stephen A Smith claims that a source close to LeBron James says LeBron is less than happy with Kyrie right now.

"if Kyrie Irving was in front of LeBron James right now, LeBron James would be tempted, quote, 'to beat his ass,"

By no means is LeBron James combing the streets to beat up Irving. In fact, LeBron even responded to claims that he was "eager" to rid Cleveland of Kyrie with a tweet:

While it's true that LeBron wasn't directly talking about Stephen A Smith's report, we should no doubt take it with a grain of salt.

This whole situation may be way overstated. But not every rumor is false, and it's easy to understand why LeBron would be frustrated with his teammate right now.

But is he really mad enough to "beat his a**?" We'll probably never know.
