FanDuel NBA Daily Picks: Do You Believe In Your Team?

Teams are scurrying to the All-Star break for a much-needed rest and in some circumstances recovery for a large part of players nursing injuries. A HUGE fourteen game schedule tonight with plenty of sleeper, value, and superstar picks for all daily fantasy players out there.

The action kicks off at 7 PM ET with an Eastern Conference duel as the Cleveland Cavaliers (38-16) host the Indiana Pacers (29-26). Cleveland have been rocked with the recent injury to All-Star forward Kevin Love who is set to miss the next six weeks. In his absence, Channing Frye and Tristan Thompson will have to carry a heavier workload. After a solid month in January, the Pacers will be looking to snap a four-game losing streak tonight.

Another highly anticipated game tonight is the surging Miami Heat (24-32) traveling to Houston to play the Rockets (40-17). Miami have struggled their past two games after a remarkable twelve game win streak and will be looking to bounce back against the fast-paced Houston Rockets. Houston have scored 100 plus points in the past 42 games, an extraordinary accomplishment. Tip-off is at 8 PM ET.

Top 3 Sleepers

FanDuel – Select Your Lineup and Win the Game

Juancho Hernangomez (FanDuel: $4,000)
Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves

Hernangomez exploded in Monday’s win against the Warriors scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds, 6 threes and 45 FD points. With Mudiay, Chandler, Arthur, Faried and Gallinari all expected to miss tonight’s game, Hernangomez may be in for another great game.

Channing Frye (FanDuel: $5,000)
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Indiana Pacers

Frye got the start in place of injured All-Star Kevin Love and made the most on his opportunity. Frye scored 21 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks and 38.5 FD points last night in the Cavaliers victory over the Timberwolves. Frye offers genuine potential as a sleeper pick until his price rises.

Aaron Gordon (FanDuel: $4,500)
Orlando Magic vs San Antonio Spurs

Huge news yesterday as Serge Ibaka was traded to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Terrence Ross and a future first round pick. Now, Gordon will be able to showcase his potential as more opportunity will come his way. Gordon is meant to start tonight’s game against the Spurs and receive big minutes.

Top 3 Value Players

FanDuel – Select Your Lineup and Win the Game

Dario Saric (FanDuel: $5,300)
Philadelphia 76ers vs Boston Celtics

Philly fans are now starting to believe that the wait for Croatian big man, was finally worth it. Saric has been unreal in his last five games, carrying the 76ers in the absence of Jahill Okafor and Joel Embiid. Expect Saric to continue his hot streak of 19.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3 assists and 32.6 FD points in his last five.

Will Barton (FanDuel: $6,400)
Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves

Scroll to Continue

Barton has also risen to the occasion in the light of the Denver Nuggets injury problems. Barton is averaging 20 points, 7.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1 steal, 1.2 blocks and almost 40 FD points in his last five outings. The man has stuffed the stat-sheet doing everything he can to help his team.

James Johnson (FanDuel: $6,400)
Miami Heat vs Houston Rockets

Johnson has been one of the few surprises on the Miami Heat roster that has stepped up their game since a shaky start to the year. Johnson is averaging 22.3 points, 5 rebounds, 2.7 blocks and 36 FD points in his past three matchups. Look for that to continue against the fast-paced Houston Rockets.

Top 3 Star Players

FanDuel – Select Your Lineup and Win the Game

Kawhi Leonard (FanDuel: $9,900)
San Antonio Spurs vs Orlando Magic

Kawhi continues to improve offensively night in and night out. ‘The Claw’ has scored 30 plus in four consecutive games and averaged almost 50 FD points in that span. The Magic have struggled this year against opposition small forwards allowing 38 FD points per game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (FanDuel: $10,800)
Milwaukee Bucks vs Brooklyn Nets

I’m picking Antetokounmpo purely on his matchup against the worst defensive team in the league. In the three games, the ‘Greek Freak’ has played the Net’s this year he has scored the following FD points; 41.5, 56.5, 48. With no Jabari Parker, Giannis will have to carry an even heavier workload than he already was.

Russell Westbrook (FanDuel: $12,400)
Oklahoma City Thunder vs New York Knicks

Russell had a rare disappointing game on Monday against the Wizards. The positive? He only played 24 minutes. Russ should be well rested against a struggling Knicks team who he scored 27 points, 17 rebounds, 14 assists and 65.4 FD points on November the 28th.
