NBA Thursday looms with a short five games scheduled for tonight. For tonight, DFS players will be faced with a challenging task picking front-court players due to the limited options. However, there is an abundance of backcourt stars that are sure to post a high FanDuel score.

In one of the more exciting matchups of the night, the Cleveland Cavaliers (36-15) make a trip to Oklahoma to visit the Thunder (30-23). The Cav’s have clicked back into gear after an ordinary January, going 4-0 to begin the new month. Rumors are swirling that Cleveland forward, Kevin Love, may be rested tonight to heal his ongoing back injury. The Thunder will be looking to redeem themselves against the Cavaliers who they lost to last week by 16 points. The injury sustained to Enes Kanter has hurt the Oklahoma offense dearly. Prior to the injury, OKC were averaging almost 106 points per game. In the six-game span since the Thunder are averaging a meager 99 points. Look for OKC to take advantage of a fatigued Cavaliers line-up who will be playing their third game in four nights.

INJURIES

OUT:Iman Shumpert (ankle), Deron Williams (toe), Andrew Bogut (hamstring), Avery Bradley (Achilles), Evan Turner (hand), Joel Embiid (knee)

Monitor:Cody Zeller (quadriceps), Aaron Gordon (foot), Jeff Green (personal), Richard Homes (illness), Kevin Love (rest), Alex Abrines (back), Seth Curry (shoulder)

Top 3 Sleepers

Dario Saric (FanDuel: $4,300)
Philadelphia 76ers

For Dario Saric fan’s, Joel Embiid is out once again. This gives the Croatian TREMENDOUS value for tonight’s game against the Magic. In his past ten games (Embiid has missed nine of them), Saric is averaging 21.73 FanDuel points. Even better, one of Saric’s best games of the season came against the Magic on the 1st of November where he posted 21 points and 3 rebounds. At such a cheap price and slim frontcourt options, you really can’t go wrong with the big man.

Channing Frye (FanDuel: $4,300)
Cleveland Cavaliers

With Kevin Love listed as ‘doubtful’ for tonight’s game due to rest, Frye will likely draw the start. In his past two starts without Love, Frye posted solid games of 18 points, 4 rebounds and 15 points 5 rebounds. Frye is a steal for DFS players tonight.

Kyle Korver (FanDuel: $3,700)
Cleveland Cavaliers

Iman Shumpert didn’t travel with the team for the two-game road trip so he is unavailable again tonight. In his absence, Kyle Korver had a mammoth impact in the win against the Pacers. Korver finished with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 8 made three’s. Korver is a great play for tonight.

Top 3 Value Players

FanDuel – Select Your Lineup and Win the Game

George Hill (FanDuel: $6,100)
Utah Jazz

When he hasn’t been injured this year, George Hill has been very good for the Utah Jazz this season. Since Hill returned from injury on January the 7th, he is averaging 16.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 27.7 FanDuel points. Look for Hill to have another solid game against an injury-driven Mavs backcourt.

Harrison Barnes (FanDuel: $6,400)
Dallas Mavericks

Surprisingly, Barned FanDuel price dropped from $6,900 down to $6,400 after an impressive 26-point game. Barnes has been a terrific value pick for FanDuel players due to his consistency. In his past eight games, the former Warrior is averaging 20.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 30.4 FanDuel points. You can trust Barnes to keep producing in a poor team.

Serge Ibaka (FanDuel: $6,000)
Orlando Magic

It seems as though Serge Ibaka has adjusted to his different scenario in Orlando. In his past six games, Ibaka has come to life averaging 17 points, 8 rebounds and 30.8 FanDuel points. Ibaka’s opponent, the 76ers give up a league worst 29 points to opposition big men. Look for the Spanish big man to have another terrific game.

Top 3 Star Players

Russell Westbrook (FanDuel: $12,500)
Oklahoma City Thunder

You simply cannot pass up on this man at the moment. That is if you can afford it anyway. Westbrook continues to stuff the stat sheet night in and night out. Westbrook is averaging an astonishing 31.9 points, 10.4 rebounds, 9.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 58.5 FD points in his last ten matchups. You would be crazy not to start the man.

James Harden (FanDuel: $12,600)
Houston Rockets

On January the 10th, ‘The Beard’ exploded for a 40-point triple-double against the Charlotte Hornets. Tonight, once again, Harden faces the Hornets. If you’re not putting Westbrook in your line-up, then I insist on having Harden. You have to have one of them.

Gordon Hayward (FanDuel: $8000)
Utah Jazz

If you’re going with a cheaper star in your line-up, I recommended Hayward. The Jazz have turned their offense up a notch the previous two games scoring over 120 in both. Hayward is benefiting from a more fluent Jazz offense averaging 24.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4 assists and 40.2 FD points over his past five games. Playing a weak Mavericks side Hayward should be able to capitalize.
