Enes Kanter Found Out He Was Traded During Live Stream At Kid's Basketball Camp

The past couple of days have been a wild ride for former Oklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter.

Only a few days ago, Kanter was sticking up for the city of Oklahoma and his teammates after the whole Kevin Durant Twitter drama became public. Fast forward to Saturday, and Enes was being shipped off to New York along with Doug McDermott in exchange for Carmelo Anthony. Pretty rough.

What makes it even worse was the way Enes found out about the trade.

Kanter was holding a basketball camp for children, live streaming the ongoing shenanigans to viewers on his Periscope, a live streaming platform, when news broke about the blockbuster trade. Somehow though, Kanter managed to keep his cool in front of the camera.

You can see the point at which Enes is reading the chat and realises he's been traded, but manages to keep a straight face.

Brett Dawson, Oklahoma City Thunder beat writer, was at the camp when things went down, and was tweeting Kanter's reaction after the live stream ended.

At least he has a sense of humor about it.

Kanter has been through a lot since he arrived in OKC, and it'll be sad to see him leave the franchise that helped him through one of the toughest periods in his life.
