Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is one of the NBA's loudest mouthpieces when it comes to issues within the league. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year isn't afraid to speak his mind to the media, and that's exactly what he's gone and done regarding the quality of officiating in the NBA this season.
Green, who is well known for his abrasive nature towards refs during games, has called out the league's officiating crew, citing the refs are making things personal between themselves and the way they treat Green.
Green may have a point this season, as officials this year have been laughably bad at stages, actively costing teams games due to missing blatant fouls and calls. But the victim complex Green has going on right now is a bit too much.
Draymond has had his fair share of run-ins with referees this season alone, amassing 11 technical fouls already this season, with teammate Kevin Durant in second place with 8. It's not like Draymond hasn't done anything to deserve those techs though, as Green has been involved in multiple scuffles this year, and is constantly complaining to officials when things don't go his way.
It also doesn't help that Draymond has been like this his entire career, quickly building a reputation for himself as a player who doesn't respect the on-court officials.
All this hate for the refs could possibly stem from when Green was suspended from Game 6 of the 2016 NBA Finals, a move which opened the door for the Cleveland Cavaliers to climb back and complete one of the biggest comebacks in NBA Finals history.
Draymond can definitely expect a hefty fine heading his way from Adam Silver very shortly.
