As many of you may have heard, UFC fighter Conor McGregor is scheduled to go up against undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather on August 26 in one of the most anticipated bouts in combat sports history.
Hype surrounding the fight has been nothing short of insane, and now Golden State Warriors All-Star Draymond Green has got himself involved in the action.
Just yesterday, Green, who is supporting Mayweather in the fight, posted a picture of McGregor wearing a No. 23 Warriors jersey from the 2000's with the caption "We rocking with Floyd bro not you... take that off bruh @thenotoriousmma"
Obviously, Draymond wasn't too pleased to see McGregor wearing his jersey. The thing is though, Conor was wearing C.J. Watson's jersey from when he used to play for the Warriors, and the UFC fighter made sure Draymond was corrected.
Apparently, McGregor was wearing a C.J. Watson jersey because Watson was accused of sleeping with Mayweather's wife while they were together, leading Mayweather to domestically abuse his wife, Josie Harris. Just rubbing more salt into the wound, as you'd expect from someone like Conor.
Draymond eventually replied to McGregor's comments on the post, ranting about how "that number won't be work again after I'm finished with it clown!"
As you can see, Draymond and Conor now have a strong dislike for each other, and I wouldn't be surprised if McGregor mentions Draymond in the near future.
