We will breakout lineup with sleeper, value and star players. Good Luck!
BRANDON JENNINGS: ($5600) VS. WIZARDS
Derrick Rose is expected to continue to miss time with his sprained left ankle so it will be Brandon Jennings who will once again get the start. Jennings scored 18 points and had 11 assists in his previous outing against the Atlanta Hawks and this was no surprise, in the 6 games Jennings has started he has averaged 17.5 points, 5.7 assists a and 4.7 rebounds.
KEMBA WALKER: ($8300) VS. BLAZERS
In this matchup against the Blazers, look for Walker to once again attack the weak backcourt defense of Damian Lillard and C.J McCollum. In Walker’s previous matchup against Lillard (17/01), Walker went for a team-high 23 on 8-14 field goal attempts. Walker is a reliable scorer and that is no exception in tonight’s game.
JOHN WALL: ($10,500) VS. KNICKS
Wall has been on fire as of late, averaging 23 points and 10 dimes in his last 9 matchups. This includes a game on the 19th against the Knicks where Wall posted a stat line of 29-13-5. Wall is a safe option to exploit Jennings defense and to keep on creating for his teammates.
JUSTIN HOLIDAY ($3800) VS. WIZARDS
Not only has Brandon Jennings enjoyed a bump in productivity since Rose injury but fellow shooting guard Justin Holiday. Holiday is averaging 27 minutes in his last four matchups and is also scoring at a higher rate, averaging 10.2 points in his last nine games. At $3200, Holiday is a cheap option with some high upside.
LOU WILLIAMS ($6,200) VS. NUGGETS
The Sixth Man of the year candidate has been unstoppable as of late with averages of 23.8 points, 3.5 dimes and 3 triples in his last 6 matchups. With that kind of production and at that value price, Williams is one you cannot pass up on.
JAMES HARDEN ($12,500) VS. KINGS
After a disappointing outing against the Indiana Pacers (15 points), Harden will be out for revenge in a matchup against the Kings who are on their second night of a back-to-back. Lock in Harden for a huge score.
SOLOMON HILL ($4,700) VS. RAPTORS
After signing a ridiculous 4-year, 48 million contract, Soloman Hill has not been what the Pelicans anticipated. However, Hill has been giving the Pelicans some good minutes. Hill is averaging 31.4 minutes over a 9 game span, if he can be more efficient against the Raptors the minutes are there and with a $4,000 price tag it’s worth the risk.
DANILO GALLINARI ($7,000) VS. LAKERS
With Wilson Chandler (Neck) and Kenneth Faried (hamstring) both carrying injuries, Gallinari may be leaned on even more in tonight’s matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. Gallinari is averaging 20 points in his last 5 while shooting an impressive 34 from 37 from the free throw line. At $6,300 Gallinari is a consistent performer who is terrific value.
KAWHI LEONARD ($9,600) VS. THUNDER
For a superstar that Leonard is, the price tag of $8,800 is astonishing. Averaging almost 32 points in his last 8 matchups, Leonard is a must have in your Draft Kings team.
DONATAS MOTIEJUNAS ($3,700) VS. RAPTORS
Since joining the Pelicans in January, Motiejunas has provided solid production off the bench. Motiejunas has scored double-digits in his last 4 games and at his cheap price is a definite sleeper.
DAVID LEE ($5,800) VS. THUNDER
Although Lee was moved to the bench in his last outing against the Mavericks, that didn’t stop his production as he produced 14-3-4 in 26 minutes. Since Pau Gasol’s injury, Lee has scored double-digits in every game and has also contributed 8.6 rebounds. Expect this time of performance from the veteran again.
DEMARCUS COUSINS ($11,400) VS. ROCKETS
Although it is the second night of a back-to-back, don’t expect Big Boy Cousins to slow down. After only playing 32 minutes last night against the 76ers due to foul trouble, Cousins still managed to have a monster night posting 46 points and 15 rebounds. Cousins had 32 and 9 in his last matchup against the Rockets. Expect the same production for the best big man in the game.
JUSUF NURKIC ($4,100) VS. LAKERS
With the rise of future star Nikola Jokic, Jusuf Nurkic has seen his minutes and production plunge dramatically. Nevertheless, Nurkic has a huge opportunity to once again prove himself. With Jokic out and injuries to Faried and Chandler, expect Nurkic to lodge big minutes and provide a solid game against the Lakers.
STEVEN ADAMS ($6,000) VS.SPURS
Steven Adam’s has had a solid return from a two-game absence, posting 12.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks. Now, with the injury of fellow big man Enes Kanter, Adam’s will have more responsibility than ever and against a weak defensive frontcourt of the Spurs (Lee and Aldridge), anticipate Adam’s to have a big game tonight.
ANTHONY DAVIS ($11,200) VS. RAPTORS
Davis posted a huge stat line of 36 points and 17 rebounds in his last outing against the Wizards and the matchup against the Raptors should be no different, look for Davis to have a monster game.
