Charles Barkley Explains Why Lonzo Ball Is Only "Half A Player"

As one of the most talked about Rookies in tha last couple of years, all eyes are on Lonzo Ball to live up to all the hype.

So far, things have been pretty up-and-down for the young point guard. Still, he has been far from disappointing, frequently showing flashes of his full potential.

Not everyone is on the Lonzo train though, and one guy in particular even went so far as to say Lonzo is "half" a player.

In case you were wondering, that "guy" is Charles Barkley, Turner Sports NBA analyst, and former superstar for the Phoenix Suns.

Here's what he had to say:

“He’s got this defect in his game because he can only shoot the ball from the left side of his body. So he can only shoot going left because he can’t go right cause he’s bringing the ball from over here," Barkley explained. "So he’s only half of a player right now and guys are taking half his body away. I told you that during March Madness”

With all the Lonzo Ball hype flying around this season, Barkley's words do ring some truth regarding the Laker rookie.

If he can't change his unorthodox shooting form, it could severely hinder his offensive game. Now, Lonzo will have to show he has the willpower and the work ethic to find a way around this shooting obstacle before it becomes too late.
