This is definitely one way to get kicked off the Cleveland Cavaliers squad.
Cedi Osman, who was selected with the first pick of the second round in the 2015 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, and was later traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, has been quite the surprise for the Cavs after the trade deadline, getting his first career start against the Atlanta Hawks after Cleveland traded away six players on deadline day, creating a lot of room in the lineup for the end-of-the-bench guys to receive playing time.
Osman dropped 16 points against the Hawks, along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists, impressing coach Lue enough to start the next two games against the Celtics and Thunder. But Osman's career with the Cavs had the chance to start off on the worst foot possible during the offseason.
In a recent interview with Cavs.com, Cedi explains how during an offseason scrimmage, LeBron James and Osman clashed, with James coming down on Cedi's foot and severely spraining his ankle.
Thankfully for Osman and his NBA career, James stayed true to form and recovered quickly from the injury, rendering it nothing more than a practice incident, but Cleveland's entire season could've been flushed down the toilet if things went only slightly worse and James was out for the season with a broken ankle.
