After a long summer of drama and trade rumors, the Carmelo Anthony saga has finally reached its end. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Knicks have agreed to trade Carmelo Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott, and a 2018 future second-round draft pick.
After acquiring Paul George from the Pacers earlier this summer, the Thunder weren't expected to make any major changes this year. But, obviously, when Carmelo reportedly added the Thunder to his list of acceptable trade destinations, it changed everything.
For the Knicks, it signals the start of a long rebuild, with Porzingis as the centerpeice.
FInally, the last great trade of the summer has finished. And no doubt, it will change the course of the NBA for years to come...
