El Contusione is coming back for one final run.
It's been reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN that the San Antonio Spurs and Manu Ginobili are finalizing a deal to help Manu return for his 16th season in the NBA according to sources.
The Argentinian shooting guard became an unrestricted free agent after this past season, and many were speculating last season would be his final one, as Ginobili turns 40 tomorrow.
Ginobili has taken a lesser and lesser role as he has grown older, averaging the least amount of minutes ever in his career last season with 18.7 a game. Last season was also one of his worst statistically, as Manu averaged 7.5 points and 2.7 assists on 39% from the field and 39.2% from deep.
In his most recent performance, Manu scored 15 points and had 7 assists in a loss against the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, getting the send off he deserved as most thought it would be his final game in the NBA.
