Breaking: Draymond Green Becomes The 2017 NBA Defensive Player Of The Year


Haters gonna hate, right? Despite all of the slander and negativity towards Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors, both Dray and the Dubs have become the nightmare of NBA teams everywhere. The 6’7” 230 pound Power Forward has consistently been one of the NBA’s best defenders. Being able to guard all 5 positions at will, his prowess while guarding others is unmatched. For the 2017 season, Draymond averaged 10.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1.4 blocks.

The stats say it all: this guy can do everything. It also doesn’t hurt that Green is a huge part of one of the best teams in NBA History, who also happen to be the 2017 NBA Champs. So, not only is Draymond Green a two-time All-Star, two-time All-NBA Player, and a two-time Champion, but he also has the honor of officially being this season's Defensive Player of the Year. While everyone else is busy raving on about Golden State, Draymond Green isn’t afraid to punch back. And because of everything he’s accomplished in his career, why should he be?
