Bradley Beal May Have Just Taken A Shot At John Wall With These Comments About His Injury

Is there dissension within the ranks of the Washington Wizards?

Both John Wall and Bradley Beal are considered one of the top backcourts in the NBA as of right now, with both guards being voted into the All-Star game this year -- Wall's fifth selection and Beal's first.

Wall will be skipping this year's All-Star festivities, however, after going under the knife for knee surgery, which will see the speedy point guard sidelined for up to two months as he recovers from the procedure.

Bradley Beal, who has really come into his own this season, with averages of 23.9 points and 4.5 rebounds a game, was asked what's it's been like playing with Wall out of the lineup recently, and may have actually taken a subtle shot at his backcourt mate.

"Everybody eats. That's our motto when we move the ball. It's fun keeps the locker room close, it keeps the camaraderie going."

Interesting choice of words. Is Beal saying that when Wall is running the offense, the ball moves around a lot less and the Wizards' offense is more iso-oriented?

Even though Wall is always amongst the top assist men in the league season after season, that doesn't necessarily mean that he shares the ball around as much as he should. Many fans have given Russell Westbrook flak for being a ballhog, even though he averaged double-digit assists last season.

Not to mention, Wall and Beal have been rumored to have an uneasy relationship ever since Beal was drafted back in 2012, continuously butting heads over who the main man should be for the Wiz.

Whatever the case, Washington's front office will be hoping that nothing comes of this quote, whatever the meaning behind it was.
