Top 3 Super Teams That Can Beat Golden State Warriors Without Any Problem

Fadeaway World

Fadeaway World

Throughout the years the NBA has seen plenty of dominant teams, starting from Bill Russell’s Boston Celtics, the Association has witnessed several squads that have left a mark in history thanks to their style of playing.

Over the past decade or so, we’ve seen some great teams like that big three Boston Celtics featuring Garnett, Pierce and Allen, the LeBron James’ Miami Heat that reached four finals in a row and over the last couple of seasons, the overpowered Golden State Warriors.

Golden State prolifically build through the Draft, creating and developing several athletes that are either still playing for the team or being successful in other squads. However, seeing the dominance of Golden State this past season, we’ve given a lot of thought to who may actually be able to stop Steve Kerr and his pupils.

Luckily for them, we’re talking about pure fiction. Still, we’re going to let you know about the 3 teams we believe that could actually defeat them.

Chris Paul, Ray Allen, James Worthy

Karl Malone, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Chris Paul would torch Curry on defense (most of the time), while Ray Allen and Klay Thompson would fight to the death over who can light it up better from downtown, and both forward spots would be an extremely physical duel with Malone torching Green and Durant overplaying Worthy on the offensive end.

For this matchup, Abdul-Jabbar would definitely be the key element right here, and as long as Chris Paul’s able to feed him in the post, he’d have a feast against Zaza Pachulia and the small ball Golden State Warriors, eventually sealing a 4-3 series victory.

Magic Johnson, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James

Kevin Garnett and Shaquille O’Neal

This team would have an even easier job taking down the Warriors, featuring perhaps the best point guard in the history of the game alongside a couple of guys that definitely know how to play alongside each other in Dwyane Wade and LeBron James.

On the other hand, we’ve got two players that never played together, but if they did, the dominance of their team would have been magnificent on Kevin Garnett and Shaq, completely bullying their way to the paint against both Draymond Green and Zaza Pachulia, handing their squad a 4-2 victory against the Warriors, with O’Neal as their leading scorer.

Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird

Charles Barkley and Hakeem Olajuwon

With Kobe and Jordan constantly shifting in both guards positions while Larry Bird lights them up from three and Charles Barkley handles Draymond and gives him a handful of his own medicine, you know the Golden State Warriors simply don’t stand a chance against 5 of the best to ever lace them up.

And if you add the most talented center in the history of the game to that mix in Hakeem Olajuwon, you know absolutely no team would stand a chance against them, although the Warriors would be able to at least steal one for them after a night of partying and gambling Jordan and Barkley style, falling down 4-1 against some of the most talented athletes history has ever seen.
