Before he came into the league, Devin Booker is just 19 years old and didn't start any game for the Kentucky during his college basketball. Devin was selected by the Phoenix Suns as the 13th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft.

Earlier this season, Devin Booker only receives a small amount of playing time because of the presence of Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight in the team. Bledsoe and Knight played well this season and having both Ronnie Price and Sonny Weems playing as the backup guards for the team means small chances of playing time for Devin.

Things change for the team before the end of 2015. Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight both suffered a season-ending injury which leads to Devin Booker as the starting guard alongside with Archie Goodwin who also received less playing time.

Archie and Devin played extremely well together as the backcourt combination in the Suns lineup.

Since January of 2016, Devin Booker averaged 22.3 points per game and had 6 games which he scored 30+ points in a game.

This 19-year-old really showed his potential to be a star in this league. He's one of the teenagers in the history of the league joining LeBron James, Kevin Durant and more as the only teenager to score 1k+ points during their rookie year.

Devin showed his heart and intelligence in the game when he was the main focus of the offense for the Suns.

Some of the best shooting guards in the league like Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant were impressed with the playing style and love for the game by Devin Booker.
