This is a duel of two best wings on the NBA Drat 2015. Who is your pick and where is the best fit for Justise Winslow or Stanley Johnson?

Justise Winslow

19 years, 201 cm, 100 kg, Duke Blue Devils.

2014/15 college stats:

12.6 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 2.1 apg – 48.5% FG, 41.4% 3P

Winslow built a name for himself with great performances during NCAA Tournament. He was the second best player on the championship team, and without his defense Duke wouldn’t be able to win it all.

A bit undersized by NBA standards, Winslow is bulky and quick enough to guard multiple positions. His tenacity and relentless motor grant him lottery pick status. Lance Stephenson is a good role model for Winslow, in terms of basketball talent.

Justise doesn’t turn the ball over often, and he is very explosive in transition. Ball-handling, slow release and issues with spot-up and pull-up actions are his weaknesses.

Best Fit: New York Knicks

NBA Comparison: Lance Stephenson

Stanley Johnson

19 years, 201 cm, 111 kg, Arizona Wildcats.

2014/15 college stats:

13.8 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.7 apg – 44.6% FG, 37.1% 3P

Coming in the NCAA as one of the nation’s brightest high school prospects, Johnson certainly met the expectations. He was the leader on really good Arizona squad, reaching the Elite Eight round this season. Johnson is capable scorer and rebounder, and he isn’t afraid of taking big shots. With 111 kilos (245 lbs) he is a defensive presence to be reckoned. His combination of speed and power allows him to create looks for himself and to be a threat on offense in almost every possession. Stanley is great in attacking and splitting pick and rolls, and he can go underneath screens.

He is a smart guy who can flourish in read and react system. Johnson must improve his will to defend for the whole game and to stay focused when his scoring isn’t on the usual level. Also, his around the rim percentages are minor issues, but nothing that can’t be fixed.

Best Fit: Charlotte Hornets

NBA Comparison: Ron Artest more than Metta World Peace and more than Panda's Friend

Fadeaway World Verdict: We have two talented wings with somewhat similar abilities and styles of play. Winslow has the champion’s aura, and he is more hyped right now, but Johnson is just as good.

Depending on the situation, both can become All-Star players and both can be busts. Slight advantage goes to Winslow.
