NBA All-Star West and East Squads Decided Only by Players Voting

With NBA.com providing the full voting results from players here, we can take a look at who the players would have selected from among their own to represent the East and West.

The twelve man roster is based on the six frontcourt and four backcourt players with the most votes and the two wildcards with the next highest % of vote (as each voter has 3 frontcourt votes but only 2 backcourt votes).

It's very interesting that Carmelo is here and amongst East squad, we can find four point guards, but without Derrick Rose (nobody expected him there, I guess).

Dwyane Wade ha only 33 votes, but Porzingis is the biggest surprise here with 51 votes.

On the other side, Russell Westbrook has 104 more votes than Stephen Curry, but fans decide to select Stephen Curry instead a triple-double machine.

Two biggest surprises are Marc Gasol and C.J. McCollum who has only 10 votes less than Damian Lillard.
