Before they selected Stephen Curry (7th pick, 2009), Golden State Warriors had played only once in the NBA Playoffs from the seasons 1994/95 until 2012/13. Exactly 18 years and one NBA Playoffs appearance.

They played NBA Playoffs in the season '06/07, with Don Nelson, Baron Davis, Al Harrington, Stephen Jackson, Monta Ellis, Jason Richardson, Mike Dunleavy, Matt Barnes and others.

They defeated Dallas Mavericks (1st seed) and that was one of the biggest surprises in the NBA Playoffs History. After that, they lost 1-4 against Utah Jazz.

If we are looking in the past, they played in the season '93/94 with Chris Webber, Latrell Sprewell, Chris Mullin, Billy Owens and Avery Johnson.

It was a hard time for Golden State Warriors fans, because they watched only two NBA Playoffs for 20 years.

After Stephen Curry arrived, they didn't play three years in the row, but from the season '12/13, they played in every NBA Playoffs so far.

Watch this video, how the Warriors created the blueprint of a Champion, because they can win another title (back-to-back) against Cleveland Cavaliers in a few days.
