Kobe Bryant is a lot of things. He's a family man, a basketball player, a business man, and, now, he's become a television show-star.
In an announcement by The Mamba himself via Twitter, he'll be launching a new show called "Detail," to be shown by ESPN nationwide. The show will revolve around film, with Kobe commentating on ways "pros better their best." ESPNmediazone.com has more on the details:
In Detail, viewers will experience unparalleled game observations from Bryant as if he were one of the players featured in an ESPN game played the day before. As one of this generation’s leading basketball minds, Bryant will provide a perspective aimed at helping young athletes, players and coaches see the game in a different way.
The show kicks off in March and is expected to be a pretty big hit. After all, Kobe Bryant returning to out televisions is an amazing thing by itself. Him using his basketball mind to analyze the game for us, however, is something that sounds just mind-numbingly entertaining.
