Only 8 Players Last Season Had A Better Season Than A 39-Year-Old Michael Jordan

Without argument, Michael Jeffrey Jordan is the greatest basketball player in history, and you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who disagrees with that statement.

It seems the entirety of Jordan's career is legendary, even when you consider the tail end of his career, namely his stint with the Washington Wizards, where MJ averaged 20/6/4 as a 39 and 40-year-old. That's almost unheard of, and that stat line becomes even more impressive after you hear about this tidbit of NBA information.

Only nine players last season averaged at least a 20/6/4 line across the entirety of the regular season.

The fact that only nine in today's league full of 450+ players could average at least the same stats as a 39-year-old Jordan speaks wonders about MJ's greatness and longevity as a player.

If you wish to know who those nine players were, you can take a look at our list down below, with each player ranked in order of points per game.
