One Of Charles Barkley's Predictions At The Start Of The Year Has Already Failed Miserably

Whether you like him or not, Charles Barkley is one of the most entertaining personalities when it comes to basketball media. Working alongside Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson on Inside The NBA on TNT, Barkley is often the butt of jokes, and it's not hard to see why.

Sir Charles has fallen asleep at the desk before, muddled up works, can't pronounce Jonas Valanciunas' name correctly and has insulted the female gender of San Antonio on numerous occasions, which all make for entertaining viewing.

Other than that though, Barkley is often slated for his terrible hot takes and predictions, exhibit A being one of his more recent ones while the current NBA season was just beginning.

Barkley openly stated that he thinks the Los Angeles Clippers would make the Western Conference Finals back when they were 5-2 on the season.

The Clippers have lost 9 straight since he made that prediction. Go figure.

The Clips currently sit on a 5-11 record, their season spiraling out of control ever since Milos Tedosic, Patrick Beverley, and Danilo Gallinari all went down with injuries, leaving Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan with a sparse supporting cast.

Los Angeles will be looking to get things back on track when they face the 3-14 Atlanta Hawks in Atlanta.
