5 NBA Players That Big Baller Brand Should Sign

Fadeaway World

Fadeaway World

You can say anything you want of LaVar Ball, but, to quote Jay - Z “that man got a vision of his own” and even though his big mouth makes everybody kind of want to punch him in the face, he’s still doing great things with his Big Baller Brand.

The Big Baller Brand recently released the ZO2 collection, featuring a lot of products offered wholesale to retailers, putting way more and more hype and weight over Lonzo Ball’s shoulders during his rookie campaign at top of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ball’s rookie season has been filled with up and downs as expected, showing glances of greatness but also making avoidable mistakes and struggling to make his team more effective with him on the floor.

Still, with all the hype that surrounds the UCLA product and his two younger brothers also expected to get to the NBA at some point, the Big Baller Brand is striving for greatness and trying to gain some ground in the sneakers market.

That definitely means trying to lure and sign players that could be interested in earning some extra dough and take the brand to a whole new level, even though the brand isn’t capable of offering some Kevin Durant or Stephen Curry kind of deals right now. Today, we’re going to let you know about the players that BBB should sign.

Markelle Fultz

LaVar Ball should try to make the most of Fultz’ early struggles in the Association to try and ink him to a long-term deal, as we all know he won’t be as bad as he’s shown so far as soon as he can get back, and he’d form a nice 1-2 punch with Ball in the brand for the future and younger fans.

Fultz is expected to become a perennial All-Star and lead the Philadelphia 76ers a couple years from now, so inking him would be a huge move for a rising sneakers company like the Big Baller Brand. Of course, first he has to learn how to shoot the free throws.

JR Smith

JR Smith is, among other things, a walking character, the kind of guy that would either instantly hit it up with LaVar Ball, or that would literally try to hit him, being a perfect fit for a brand surrounded by controversial and followed mostly by spoiled rich kids like. Well, like JR Smith.

The JR Swish collection would feature some hoodies, a perfect outfit for the young baller that only likes to chuck three-pointers when he’s tightly guarded, and that would just try to shoot his way to a W without even trying to find the open guy beside him. Furthermore, with Smith constantly hitting the club, the BBB brand would also have to feature some casual sneakers to expand their market.

Tristan Thompson

Ok, Tristan Thompson may not be a star but he has a huge plus besides him that LaVar Ball could definitely exploit in today’s market, as the Canadian center from the Cleveland Cavaliers currently has a relationship with one of the Kardashian sisters.

Could you just imagine all the hype that would create over a BBB Kardashian sneakers for the ladies? Like it or not, this would be a huge marketing deal that would definitely bring a lot of buzz.

Andre Roberson

What about the Big Bricker Roberson? Andre’s currently having his worst season as a pro and he’s beginning to lose respect among his peers due to his inability to even connect a couple of free throws from the charity stripe.

So, imagine yourself handing out a pair of Andre Roberson’s BBB sneakers as a prank on Christmas to your non-shooting buddy? That would just be hilarious, even though that’s obviously not going to happen.

Cameron Payne

And finally, they could definitely use Cameron Payne’s dancing skills to attract a whole new kind of target to buy their sneakers as well, as Cameron’s known to be one of the best off-court dancers in the Association right now.

Besides, he’s still got a lot of chance to turn things around and become a very good young player in the NBA, so they could sign him for peanuts and make a lot of cash out of him if he winds up flourishing.
