To play, or not to play. That’s the question Kawhi Leonard has wrestled with basically all season long, despite being medically cleared a few weeks ago.
Without him, the Spurs have managed… but they’ve missed on both sides of the ball. A Kawhi return would, no doubt, help the Spurs gain some traction in the crazy Western Conference playoff race. But, according to Express-News’ Tom Orsborn, not even coach Pop knows when that day might arrive right now.
Pop said there has been no word from Kawhi and his "group" in New York about his status: "I don’t know when he and his group are going to feel like they are ready to go. If I knew, he’d be here. When he and his group feel he’s ready, then he’ll be ready." #Spurs

Nobody knows exactly what’s going on in regards to the whole situation. For some reason, Kawhi is giving no indication of a possible return this season, and it looks like he’s choosing to keep the rest of the team in the dark as well.
