In case you missed the news, The Greek Freak held the most votes on the first return of the All-Star game voting. With the new format, if he keeps his place through the end of the voting window, it would allow him to pick his teammates for the NBA All-Star game in February.
Naturally, a few names would make an obvious first choice for anyone. But for Giannis, it’d be a great opportunity to do a little recruiting as well, perhaps adding a little more pressure as to whose name he’ll call first.
Well, for him, he’d call LeBron James himself. After all, who wouldn’t want to play with The King, right?
LeBron James and Giannis would certainly make quite the pair. And while they’re likely to take the floor together come February, James going down to Milwaukee for a season or two seems pretty unlikely.
But who knows, all it may take is a bit of convincing.
