With the Golden State Warriors about to begin their title defense this upcoming season, the Dubs have gone the undrafted route to find some bench production after spending big on Steph Curry and Kevin Durant.
The ironic thing is, the player the Warriors signed shares the same name as the team they beat in last season’s Finals.
Antonius Cleveland has agreed to a deal with the Golden State Warriors, per league sources.

Antonius Cleveland comes out of Southeast Missouri State, not being drafted in this year’s draft.
Cleveland was a bit of stud back at SEMO, being named to the Ohio Valley Conference First Team, and finishing fifth on the school’s all time scoring list. Not bad for a kid that wasn’t even worth a draft pick to most teams.
The Portland Trail Blazers picked him up to fill out their Summer League roster, and Cleveland had a few highlights against the SL champs the Los Angeles Lakers.

It’s still up in the air if Antonius will end up making the Warriors’ final roster before opening night, but if he does, you can be guaranteed some form of ‘Cleveland’ will be winning a chip next season.
