The NBA has not exactly been a quite place these past few weeks. Trade rumors, front-office scandals, and All-Star voting controversy have taken over the headlines of late.
Even that, however, is nothing compared to what may be coming to the league in the next few years. In terms of expansion, the NBA hasn’t seen any changes on that front in quite some time. Well, according to Kentucky Sports Radio founder Matt Jones, that’s about to change.

Kentucky has long been famous for its college basketball program, which is one of the best in the nation. In other words, it’d be a prime location for a new NBA basketball team.
It is not yet known exactly how soon a team in Louisville would get started, or how it would look like. But if the area loves the pros as much as it loves college, it’d make a fine place for an expansion team.
