Only a few days removed from a massive NBA trade deadline that saw the Cleveland Cavaliers deal almost a third of their roster away in one day, and we’re already seeing the beginning of the fallout from some of the moves the Cavs made.
One of the biggest moves made by the Cavs on deadline day was the trade involving former All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas, which saw the 5’9 guard traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, along with Channing Frye, in exchange for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr.
Considering Thomas only managed to play 15 games for the Cavs this season before being moved, it’s not a surprise to learn that IT didn’t really form the healthiest of relationships with some of the other players on Cleveland’s roster, most notably LeBron James, as the two never really had good chemistry when taking the court at the same time.
But Isaiah’s latest Instagram activity may have proven that the duo never really did see eye-to-eye (no pun intended.)

IT happened to like a video showing former Cav Kyrie Irving hitting a stepback on LeBron and nailing a shot over him in the Cavaliers’ matchup against the Celtics.
Obviously, Thomas was pretty pleased seeing a player on his former team getting the one-up on LeBron, at least for that possession, as the Cavaliers managed to come out 22-point victors in their first outing with their new-look squad, proving they may not have needed Thomas’ services at all.
